The JDM Toyota 3S-GE BEAMS Dual VVT-i engine with 6-speed manual transmission is a highly sought-after naturally aspirated performance package from the Toyota Altezza RS200 (SXE10).
The fifth-generation 3S-GE BEAMS is a 2.0-litre, high-compression, naturally aspirated inline-four featuring DOHC 16-valve technology and Dual VVT-i. In the factory RS200 6-speed manual specification, it produces approximately 210 PS (154 kW) at 7,600 rpm and 216 Nm of torque at 6,400 rpm.
Unlike many versions of the 3S-GE engine family, the Altezza BEAMS engine is installed longitudinally for rear-wheel drive and is paired with the Aisin J160 6-speed manual transmission. This makes it a popular choice for JDM restorations, Altezza replacements and RWD performance engine-swap projects.

Dual VVT-i Technology
