Available for sale is a JDM Mazda Miata MX-5 NB 1.8L BP-series engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, ideal for MX-5 restoration, engine replacement, performance builds and suitable swap projects.
The 1.8L BP engine is a naturally aspirated inline-four featuring a DOHC 16-valve cylinder head. Later NB 1.8L BP-Z3 versions use Mazda’s Sequential Valve Timing (S-VT) system and are commonly rated at approximately 146 hp at 6,500 rpm and 168 Nm at 5,000 rpm, depending on market and exact specification.
